Origami: How to fold a Petit Envelope

We have a sudden expense, don’t we?  Like….,

an occasion for celebrating someone you like?

If that is sudden news, you might not have a formal and nice envelop at home, right?★

Here is ‘how to fold an easy petit envelope’,

using some wrapping goods or wrapping paper in your house.

It’s easy enough for your kids to fold, why don’t you enjoy making them with them.♪

（1）How to make a Petit Envelop (Gift Style)

１　Fold it back for about 0.4 inches, like the picture below.

２　Do the same thing for the right side too.

３　Flip it over and fold it toward the center from the right side.

４　Fold the other side toward the center too.

If these two sheets of paper are overlapped,

your envelope will look nicer, so put this side on the other side a little bit.

５　Fold it behind at the top and bottom part like the picture below.

６　Flip it over and fold both sides toward the center.

Make them overlap a little bit like the picture below.

７　Insert the bottom part to the bag part of the top part like the picture below.

８　It’s done!  It was quick, wasn’t it?

（2）How to make a Petit Envelop (Envelope Style)

１　Fold it softly and make a crease only for the edge of both sides.

２　Fold the bottom part up for about 0.4 inches like the picture below.

３　Without putting it back, fold it up to make the edge meet the middle line.

４　Fold both corners up to make two triangles like the picture below.

５　Fold it along the edge of the triangle like the picture below.

Do the same thing for the other side too.

６　Fold both of the top sides inside to make two triangles like the picture below.

７　Fold the part you folded in No. 6 down like the picture below.

８　Insert the part to the bottom part, and it’s done!

（3）How to make a Petit Envelop (Simple Style)

１　Fold it up for 0.4 inches like the picture below.

２　Flip it over and put the part you folded to the right.

Fold the left side toward the center.

３　Fold the right side too, overlapping the one you folded in No.2.

４　Flip it over and fold both top and bottom parts suitably.

５　Flip it over again, and it’s done!  Quick and Easy!
