I’ll show you how to make a box for hinagashi (snacks for Girl’s Festival in Japan).

The snacks that we eat on the Girl’s Festival day is “Hina-arare”, right?

It’s so good with its little sweet flavor, that we eat too much, don’t you?

If we eat them with some people, we have to get ready for the plates for them.

The boxes for those snacks, made with origami paper,

are pretty and useful, since you can throw them away after they are used.

Please make use of them.

to make a cherry-blossom shaped box!

They all have elaborate designs and are perfect to use on special occasions, right?

They will be even prettier if you put colorful snacks or sweets in them,

such as Hina-arare or Konpeitou.

The cherry-blossom shaped box connected with five of them is so beautiful, isn’t it?

Not only for just decorating or using for the snacks,

but you can also use them as boxes for some small articles.
