Origami: How to fold a Fish

I’ll show you how to fold a fish. ❤

We have various types of origami fish, so let’s fold what you like.

If you can fold other sea animals with origami paper,

it’ll be like an aquarium and it sounds fun, doesn’t it?

How to fold a Fish 1   Angel Fish

１．First, fold it in half.

２．Fold the bottom part up to the crease.

３．Fold the left bottom part up to the crease too.

４．Fold the left side along the black line shown in the picture below.

５．It will be like the picture below.

６．Open it up all the way and cut along the red line shown in the picture below.

７．Fold each one exactly along the creases that you made, like the picture below.

８．Put them together, like the picture below.

９．Fold each tip behind along the black lines shown in the picture below.

１０．If it is like the picture below, it’s done!

How to fold a Fish   ver2

１．First, fold it in half.

２．Fold it in half again.

３．Open it up all the way and fold both sides to the crease,

like the picture below.

４．Turn it over and fold the other sides (both) to the crease,

like the picture below.

５．Turn it over, and fold both sides to the middle crease.

Make sure that you don’t fold the white (back side) part and leave it

as the picture below.

６．Fold the tail part to the right, like the picture below.

７．Turn it over and change the direction.

８．Draw your original face, and it’s done!

How to fold a Fish   ver3

１．First, fold it in half.

２．Fold it in half again.

３．Open it up all the way and fold the top part down to the crease that you made.

４．Fold the top part behind to the crease you made in No. 3.

５．Fold both sides to the middle crease.

６．Fold it along the black line shown in the picture below.

７．Fold the bottom part toward the outside along the middle line,

like the picture below.

８．Fold the same way for the other side too.

９．Fold the tail part up along the black line shown in the picture below.

１０．It will be like the picture below.

１１．Fold both corners toward the inside to the middle line.

１２．Flip it over, change the direction, and it’s done!

Make sure you cut in half

and put the two pieces of the same folded paper together

when you fold the Angel Fish.★

I used the colored origami paper on both sides,

but you can also use two pieces of half paper from different origami paper too.

You can change the direction of its head freely,

so why don’t you fold various kinds of patterns.

You can arrange it by drawing eyes or the patterns of scales too.♪
