I was asked to make my kids something nostalgic by them,
but I wondered what it was like when I was about to make.
I thought I might have forgotten how to make it, but I remembered it.
I used to make ‘hakama’ (a Japanese traditional skirt-style wearing) with it too.★
So, how was your ‘Yakko-san’? Did you make it perfect?

6 Again, fold all four corners to the middle. Then turn it over.
7 Open the bottom triangles and fold it to make it rectangular.
8 Do the same thing for the right and left ones too,
and ‘Yakko-san’ is done!
Draw eyes and mouth on the top square part,
then it’ll be a cute ‘Yakko-san’!
Make your own Yakko-san and show it off to everybody.♪
