Origami: How to fold a ‘Yakko-san’ (A Fellow)

I was asked to make my kids something nostalgic by them,

but I wondered what it was like when I was about to make.

I thought I might have forgotten how to make it, but I remembered it.

I used to make ‘hakama’ (a Japanese traditional skirt-style wearing) with it too.

So, how was your ‘Yakko-san’?  Did you make it perfect?

and ‘Yakko-san’ is done!

Draw eyes and mouth on the top square part,

then it’ll be a cute ‘Yakko-san’!

Make your own Yakko-san and show it off to everybody.

Once you make the normal Yakko-san,

you’ll be able to make its hakama too.  So try it out.

Do you like a colorful Yakko-san, or a little cool one?

Make your own original Yakko-san.
