Origami: How to fold some Necessary Items for Summer (Sunglasses, Juice, Watermelon)

Speaking of a necessary item for a super-hot day in summer…,

what would you imagine?

I’ll fold some of them which are convenient in summer with origami paper.

It might even work for the craft-work assignment for summer vacation too!

How to fold some Necessary Items for Summer 1   Sunglasses

１．Fold twice along the write lines to make two creases.

Fold both sides along the red dotted lines.

２．Open the bag part and fold it like the picture below.

Do the same thing for the other side too.

３．Fold both sides along the dotted lines.

４．Open the bag part of the triangle and fold it to make a square.

Do the same thing for the other side too.

５．Fold only the top layer up along the dotted lines in half.

６．Turn it over and fold them along the dotted lines,

like the picture No.7.

７．Fold ① first, and ②.

Don’t fold the lenses’ parts and fold the one layer inside.

Fold ② twice like rolling them.

８．Turn it over and fold them along the dotted lines,

like you shift them.

９．Fold the corners behind along the dotted lines.

１０．Fold them behind again along the dotted lines.

１１．Fold the handle’s part behind and it’s done!

How to fold some Necessary Items for Summer 2   Juice

１．Fold three times to make creases along the black lines.

Fold the top part behind along the red dotted line.

２．Fold both sides to the middle along the dotted lines.

３．Fold it up along the dotted line.

４．Fold it up along the dotted line.

Do the same thing for the left side too.

５．Fold the bottom part up along the dotted line.

６．Flip it over and it’s done!

How to fold some Necessary Items for Summer 3   Watermelon

１．Fold in half to make a crease along the black line.

Fold four corners up along the dotted lines.

２．Fold both sides up along the dotted lines.

３．Fold both sides behind along the dotted lines.

４．Fold it behind in half along the dotted line.

５．And it’s done!

You might thing it a little difficult to fold sunglasses since it’s complicated,

but you can make it if you fold it nice and slow.

If you still feel it difficult, I recommend that you use bigger paper.

They’ll be better if you use origami paper with both sides colored.
