How to fold Byobu Ver. 1
Byobu is usually easy to fold.
You’ll make a fancy one with yellow or gold origami paper!★
1. Fold it in half.
2. Fold it in half again.
3. Turn the top layer over to the left and fold it.
4. Fold the other half of layer behind too.
5. Make strong creases and open it up.
6. And it’s done!
Just do some big accordion folds, then it’s done!
Even small children can enjoy folding this, right?★
How to fold Byobu Ver.2
This one is easy to fold too.
This one has a little more heights than the one of Ver.1!♪
1. Fold it in half twice to make two creases.
2. Fold it up to the middle crease along the dotted line.
3. Fold it in half.
4. Fold both sides to the middle.
5. Make strong creases and open it up so that it will be like No.3’s picture.
6. Do a mountain fold and a valley fold alternately along each crease.
7. And it’s done!
It’s a little bigger than the one of Ver.1.
The point is to make strong creases
when you fold it from procedure No.1 to No.4.
How to fold Byobu Ver.3
This one has brims around it.
It’s stylish with a Japanese taste!
Get some pens ready for drawing the brims!★
1. Get a half-cut origami paper ready. Fold both top and bottom.
2. Fold both sides at the same width as top and bottom.
3. Open it up.
4. Draw brims black.
5. Fold each corner to make triangles.
6. Turn it over.
7. Fold top and bottom so that each edge will meat creases.
8. Fold it the same way for both sides too.
9. Fold it in half so that the colored side will face outside.
10. Fold the only top layer to the left along the dotted line.
11. Fold the second layer behind along the dotted line.
12. Open it up and…
13. it’s done!
