How to fold a ghost ver1 Yuurei
First,
I’ll show you how to fold “Yuurei” which is so humorous and innocent.
Maybe we can make friends with this kind of ghost?
1. Fold it in half. (a mountain fold)
2. Fold it in half again.
3. Fold both sides along the dotted lines. (a valley fold)
4. Fold it along the dotted lines again. (a valley fold)
5. It will be like the picture below.
6. Turn it over and fold both corners a little, like the picture below.
7. Flip it over, draw a face of the ghost and it’s done!
It can be a cute ghost or a scary ghost depends on how you draw its face!
Since the body part is so round,
it might not be scary much even if you draw a scary face…? Lol
How to fold a ghost ver2 Hitodama (the spirit of a dead person)
Next, we will make “Hitodama” which allegedly appears
in the scary places such as the cemetery.
It will be more realistic if you put some Hitodama around the ver1’s Yuurei!
It’s so easy to fold, so anybody can make it fast!
1. Fold it in half, make a crease and put it back. (a mountain fold)
2. Fold both sides to the middle crease. (a valley fold)
3. Fold three corners, like the picture below. (a valley fold)
4. Turn it over and fold it along the dotted line. (a mountain fold)
5. And the Origami Hitodama is done!
How to fold a ghost ver3 A thin Yuurei
Lastly, I’ll show you how to fold a thin Yuurei.
Even though the one I’ll show you is “Nopperabou” (no facial parts),
you can draw your original face too!
1. Fold it in half, make a crease and put it back. (a mountain fold)
2. Fold both sides to the crease. (a valley fold)
3. Fold both sides of the white part to the middle crease too.
4. Open the bag part and pull the tip out, like the picture below.
5. Do the same thing for the other side too.
6. Turn it over.
7. Fold both sides to the middle crease.
8. Fold them along the dotted lines. (a valley fold)
9. Fold it along the dotted line. (a mountain fold)
10. Fold it along the dotted line. (a mountain fold)
11. Lastly, fold it along the dotted line. (a mountain fold)
12. And the thin Yuurei is done!
You can draw various expressions on their faces.♪
Also, you can change the angle when you fold their hands
when you fold ver1 and ver3 of the ghost.
If you put the string and hang it from the high place,
it will be more realistic, moving slowly!
If you make many of them and hang them,
they will be a decoration for Halloween too!
