Origami: How to fold a Strawberry

I’ll show you how to fold three types of sweet and delicious strawberries.❤

Since they all look cute,

you might feel like decorating them in your room

or giving them to your friends as a gift too.

Also, it’ll be useful since I’ll show you how to fold it with writing pads

for the letter too!★

How to fold a Strawberry   ver1

１．First, fold it in half.

２．Fold it in half again.

３．Put it back to No.1 and change the direction, like the picture below.

４．Fold only the top layer of the bottom part up along the black line.

５．It will be like the picture below.

６．Turn it over.

７．Fold both sides to the middle crease.

８．Fold the bottom part up, like the picture below.

９．Turn it over and fold the top part down along the black line.

１０．It will be like the picture below.

１１．Fold two tips down along the crease, like the picture below.

１２．Draw the white part green, and it’s done!

How to fold a Strawberry   ver2

１．Fold it in half.

２．Fold it in half again.

３．Open the bag part and fold it like the picture below.

４．Do the same thing for the other side too.

５．Fold both sides inside, like the picture below.

(Be sure that the side with some layers is face up.)

６．Fold the top layer down along the black line.

７．Fold two parts of the second layer down too.

８．It will be like the picture below.

９．Fold the third layer behind, along the black line.

１０．It will be like the picture below.

１１．Fold both sides up, like the picture below.

１２．Fold both sides down along the creases that you made in No.11,

like the picture below.

１３．Put them back and open each bag part up and fold them,

using the creases you made, like the picture below.

１４．Fold both sides behind along the black lines.

１５．Fold both sides behind along the black lines, to make it round.

１６．And it’s done!

How to fold a Strawberry 3   Strawberry-Shaped Letter

１．Get ready for the half-cut origami, or a writing pad.  Fold it like the picture below.

２．Open it up and fold the other side too.

３．Fold it like the picture below, using the creases that you made.

４．Fold both sides to the middle.

５．Fold both sides to the middle, along the black lines.

６．It will be like the picture below.

７．Open up the bag part and fold it like the picture below.

８．Fold both sides to the middle crease.

９．Open the bag parts up and fold them, like the picture below.

１０．Fold the part with red circles, along the creases.

１１．Fold both sides to the middle crease.

１２．Insert the part into the bottom part, and it’s done!

I used two different-colored origami papers together in Ver2 Strawberry.★

I colored the calyx part green in Ver1 Strawberry,

but you could also use either a two-sided-colored origami paper

or two different-colored origami papers together like Ver2 Strawberry too.♪

I bet your friends will be happy to get the letter folded like a strawberry from you,

since you can fold it with writing-pad-sized paper too!
