They are very juicy, delicious and nutritious too!

How to fold a grape Ver.1

This is the way of making them separately

and putting them together at the end.

Even though it might take a lot of time to make four parts,

the way of folding it is so easy.

1. First, we will make the grape’s part.

Get four 1/2 cut sheets of origami paper ready.

Fold it in half and make a crease along the dotted line.

2. Fold all the corners down along the dotted lines.

3. Fold it in half.

6. Do the same thing for the other side too.

image013

7. Fold the bottom corner up along the dotted line.

8. Fold the bottom part up to the crease that you made. (a blue line)

image017

9. Fold it up along the dotted line.

image019

10. Open only the top sheet down.

image021

11. Open the inside and fold it as picture No.12 shows.

12. Fold all the corners along the dotted lines. (a valley fold)

image025

13. Turn it over.

image027

14. The grape’s part is done!

image029

image031

16. Fix them, adjusting well with glue or tape.

Cut the other origami paper to the branch’s shape and attach it to the grapes.

And it’s done!

If you use the origami with 15cm × 15cm, you can make huge grapes.

The point is adjusting each grape well.

How to fold a grape Ver.2

We will make grape’s part with three sheets of origami paper

and make a branch with a sheet of origami paper.

Even though it looks complicated to fold, it’s unexpectedly easy.

1. We will make grapes first.

Fold it in half twice and make two creases along the dotted lines.

8. Do the same thing for the other side too.

image051

9. It will be like the picture below.

image053

10. Open the bag part and fold it to make a square as picture No.11 shows.

image055

image057

11. Do the same thing for the rest of the parts too.

image059

12. Fold all the middle corners inside along the dotted lines.

image061

13. Fold all the corners along the dotted lines and adjust them well. (a mountain fold)

16. Fold both sides to the crease.

image069

17. Fold it in half.

How to fold a grape Ver.3

This is the one only with one sheet of origami paper.

Since it’s easy to fold it, even children can fold it together.

1. Get a sheet of origami paper ready.  Fold it in half to make a crease.

image085

2. Fold both sides to the middle along the dotted lines.

image087

3. Fold it up along the dotted line.

image089

4. Fold it along the dotted line. (a mountain fold)

image091

5. Fold it along the dotted lines. (a valley fold)

image093

6. Fold it behind along the dotted line.

image095

7. Fold both sides toward the middle along the dotted lines.

image097

8. Turn it over.

 image099

9. It looks like a grape’s shape.

image101

10. Draw patterns with a pen and it’s done!

image103

It will become ‘Kyoho’ or small grapes ‘Delaware,

depending on how you draw.

The white part on the top is a leaf.

So if you draw it green, it will be more like real grapes.

I showed you three types.  They are all unique and cute, right? ♥

Which one did you like most?

You can also use different colored origami paper for each grape

when you fold Ver.1 and Ver.2 of grapes.  It will be colorful and fun!

You can try origami paper with some patterns too.
