How to fold a Santa-Hat Ver.1

 

This one is easy to fold.

The tip of this Santa-hat faces straight up.

You can fold this hat not only with red origami paper

but also with your favorite color’s one!

 

1. Fold it in half to make a crease.

2. Fold the tip down along the dotted line.

3. Fold the bottom part up along the dotted line.

4. Open it up.

5. Fold the bottom part up to the crease that you made.

6. Fold it up along the dotted line again.

7. Fold it up along the crease.

8. Turn it over.

9. Fold the left side to the middle crease.

10. Fold the left side the same way as the right side too.

11. Turn it over.

12. And it’s done!

Even though the bottom parts are sticking out,

you can hide them if you put it on something like an origami doll!

If you use it as a hat itself, you can fold those parts inside too!

 

How to fold a Santa-Hat Ver.2

 

The tip of this hat faces adorably down.

If you use a large-size drawing paper, you can actually put it on too!

 

1. Fold it in half twice along the dotted lines to make creases.

3. Fold it in half along the dotted line.

4. Fold it in half along the dotted line again.

5. Fold it along the crease.

6. Fold the tip down along the dotted line.

7. Turn it over.

8. Fold the left side along the dotted line.

9. Fold the triangle part, which is sticking out,

up along the dotted line.

10. Fold the right side along the dotted line.

11. Fold the left corner behind along the dotted line.

12. Turn the top triangle up and insert it into the slit,
