Origami: How to fold Youkai Watch (Youkai Watch)

With Youkai Watch, we can see monsters anybody can’t see.

The real Youkai Watch,

which we can call monsters with medals,

is awesome but the origami Youkai Watch is even more awesome, isn’t it?　♪

If you print out pdf paper with the face of a clock,

Origami How to fold 【Youkai Watch】 Ver.1

１．Fold it in half along the green dotted line.

Open it up and fold both sides to the crease along the red dotted lines.

２．Fold each side to the middle crease along the dotted lines again.

３．Fold each side to the middle crease along the dotted lines again.

４．Fold it along the dotted line.

５．Fold it along the dotted line.

Open it to make a triangle like the pictures below.

Do the same thing for the other side too.

６．Fold the middle part toward outside along the dotted line.

７．Do the same thing for the other side too.

８．Fold the middle part toward outside along the dotted line again.

９．Open the yellow part, pulling both sides a little.

１０．Turn it over.

１１．Put both ends with rubber bands and it’s done!

１．Fold it in half along the green dotted line.

Open it up and fold both sides to the crease along the red dotted lines.

２．Turn it over.

３．Fold both sides to the middle crease again.

４．Turn it over.

５．Open the triangle parts.

６．Fold both sides to the middle again.

７．Open both corners.

８．Fold the bottom triangle to meet the top end, as picture No.9 shows.

９．Fold it to the middle line, like the pictures below.

１０．Pull the top triangle and change the direction to upside down.

１１．Fold it to the top end, as picture No.12 shows.

１２．Fold it like you did the other side too, as picture No.13 shows.

１３．Open the top triangle.

１４．Open it and fold it as if you smash it.

１５．Fold the corner which is on the belt up along the dotted line.

１６．Fold it to the back of the belt.

１７．Fold the bottom triangle the same way as the top one, as picture No.18 shows.

１８．Adjust the ending well.

１９．Open both sides along the creases and fold it as if you smash it.

２０．Turn it over.

２１．Pull each white triangle part and put it on the other.

２２．Fold it to the crease.

２３．Fold it along the dotted line again.

２４．Fold both sides along the dotted lines and make hands.

２５．Do a mountain fold and a valley fold and make a band loop.

２６．Draw a face of the watch and it’s done!

It might be easier for children to fold the version 1 watches

since they usually fold them in the kindergarten!♪
