Speaking of the partner of Winnie the Pooh, it’s Piglet, right?♥
He is such an unlucky character,
which always worries about optimistic Pooh and ends up being bothered.
But some people love Piglet, right?
I’m one of them!
Let’s make your original cute Piglet!
Now, I’ll show you how to fold Piglet here.

How to make Piglet (Origami)
①Piglet ver.1
1.Get two sheets of origami paper ready.
One for the front (light pink) and the one for the back (dark pink)
Put them together and fold as procedures.
That way, we can make Piglet with dark pink ears.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get the dark pink one, so I’ll use only light pink ones for today.
Piglet whose ears are white is a goal of this article.
First, fold it as we fold an origami crane and make it look like a diamond shape.
If you already know how to fold a crane, go to No.5.
Make creases so that you can make four triangles.
Then make creases so that you can make four squares.
Fold it making three corners with ‘〇’ mark meet together.
2.Fold both sides to the middle along the dotted lines and make creases.
3.Open from the part that is shown an arrow and fold it as picture No.4 shows.
4.Do the same thing for the other side too.
5.Fold them along the dotted lines (a valley fold).
6.Fold them along the dotted lines (a valley fold).
7.Fold the bottom corner up so that two ‘〇’ meet together.
8.Fold them along the dotted lines and make them round (a valley fold).
9.Fold the bottom part up along the dotted line.
10.Turn it over.
11.Fold the bottom part up along the dotted line.
(Make two ‘〇’ mark meet together.)
12.Fold the bottom part up along the dotted line.
13.Turn it over.
14.It looks more like a face, doesn’t it?
Next, open the ears so that the back dark pink part can be seen.
15.Unfortunately this time, the back side is white,
but if you have dark pink origami paper, please put them together and fold it.
You will have Piglet whose ears are dark pink!
Do the same thing for the other ear too.
16.Draw a face and it’s done!
17.It’s done!
②Piglet ver.2
1.Get a sheet of origami paper ready.
This time, ears will be white (back side of the paper).
Since I want to make it with different color, I’ll make purple Piglet this time.
First, fold it in half to make a triangle. Fold in half again to make another triangle.
2.Open it up and fold the bottom part up along the dotted line
(at about 1cm from the edge)
3.Fold both sides up, leaving about 1cm space in the middle.
4.Turn it over.
5.Fold only one sheet along the dotted line and make the white back part appear.
6.Fold the top tip behind along the dotted line and make a forehead.
7.Fold them behind along the dotted lines to make an outline of the face.
Adjust it well.
8.Fold the bottom corner behind, adjusting well.
9.It’s a shape of the face.
10.Draw a face and it’s done!
I think it’s hard to fold putting two sheets of paper together.
If you want to fold it with you child, ver2 is easier to fold and even easier to teach.
Since it’s easy to draw a face too, let’s make it together!♪
It will be even prettier if you put his partner Pooh next to him!♥
