Origami: How to fold an Ogre

We have “Setsubun”
(the day before the calendrical beginning of spring) on February 3.
I bet many of you scatter beans with your family members,
yelling “Oniwa soto, Fukuwa uchi”.★

To throw beans toward the “oni”(ogre) is thought
to cleanse away all the evil of the former year
and bring all the fortunes inside
of each household for the year to come.
Why don’t you have “Setsubun” with origami “oni” (ogre)?♪

If you use the poster board for the mask,
you can actually put it on your face too!♪
The white (back) part of Ver1’s blue ogre is a body part.
You can arrange the part by drawing freely!
Enjoy your “Setsubun” with origami ogres using your favorite colors like red or blue!
