Koalas inhabit Australia.

Fluffy hair, a big nose and round eyes are so cute, aren’t they?

I’ve heard that they basically live on the trees

and sleep for about 20 hours a day.

Such an easygoing animal, right?

Today, I’ll show you how to fold three types of origami koala.

A point when you draw koala’s face, make sure to draw its nose big.

Try to draw it long and huge.

Since it’s also a bag, you can play it as a glove puppet too.

Now, we will make both a face and a body,

using two sheets of origami paper.

This one looks just like a real koala and is so cute too.

1. First, we will make a face.

Fold it in half twice and make two creases along the dotted lines.

This is the koala climbing up the tree, isn’t it?

If you can also make a tree with origami paper,

it will be more realistic too.

If you make this with a small sheet of origami paper,

you can make a parent-and-a child koala too.

In this procedure, we only need one sheet of origami paper

and make both a face and a body.

You might feel it a little complicated compared to the Ver1 and 2.
